1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Checkpoint data: Coordinate data you upload for accuracy computation. Stored temporarily (90 days), then automatically deleted.
  • Email address: When you opt in for PDF generation, benchmark participation, or account creation.
  • Account data: Name, company, role (if you create a full account).
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, computation metadata. No raw coordinates in analytics.
  • Benchmark contributions: Anonymized aggregate RMSE values + segment metadata only (see Section 4).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide accuracy computation services and generate reports.
  • To deliver your PDF report via secure download link.
  • To compute benchmark percentiles (opt-in only).
  • To improve the Service, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
  • To segment and route qualified leads to our JobOps platform for relevant professional opportunities.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

  • JobOps (our platform): Email and segment data for operators who opt in to receive professional opportunities.
  • Service providers: Cloud hosting, email delivery, and infrastructure providers (under data processing agreements).
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Benchmark Data & K-Anonymity

Privacy-First Design

The accuracy benchmark uses strict privacy controls to ensure no individual can be identified.

  • No raw coordinates are ever stored in the benchmark database.
  • No point IDs or per-point residual data is retained.
  • Only aggregate metrics (RMSE values, accuracy class) + segment metadata (vertical, method, gear category) are stored.
  • K-anonymity enforced: Segment data is only published when ≥ 10 contributions exist in that segment.
  • Individual contributions cannot be traced to a specific user, project, or site.
  • You can opt out of the benchmark at any time by contacting us.

5. Data Retention

Data TypeRetention Period
Uploaded CSV files90 days, then auto-deleted
Computation results90 days (indefinite for account holders)
PDF reports / share links30 days (indefinite for account holders)
Benchmark dataIndefinite (anonymized, no PII)
Email / lead dataUntil deletion request

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. Optional analytics cookies help us understand usage patterns. You can decline non-essential cookies via the cookie consent banner without affecting core functionality.

8. Security Measures

  • All connections encrypted via TLS (HTTPS).
  • Passwords hashed with argon2 (memory-hard algorithm).
  • Database isolation via row-level security (RLS).
  • JWT tokens with short expiry (24h access, 30d refresh).
  • No raw coordinates in logging or analytics systems.

No system is perfectly secure. We implement industry-standard measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
